Running From the Law

Last Saturday, Trent and his friend Forest decided to go snow boarding up at Sunrise, I thought great! have fun. We did warn him about his speed going through Show Low and said whatever you do don't get pulled over on the reservation. Well he had a great time, came home very sore, mostly his behind. Before he made it all the way to the house he felt that he needed to get something off of his chest, he was pulled over for speeding. He told me his story and it is quite funny, so since this blog is for us to keep a journal of the good times and the bad times of our life, I just had to add this. Even if it might cause us a little embarrassment. Trent was going 50 mph when he should of been going 35mph. He was a little nervous on where to pull over, he saw a parking lot not realizing where it would lead him to. He gets trapped into following a little curb trail which leads to a row of post office mails boxes. He knew that he couldn't stop there so he follows it around with the officer following him. After he stopped, the officer walks up to the Suburban but the driver's window won't roll down. So he has to open his door to talk to the officer. I can just picture this man's face and thinking what is wrong with this kid?? Third time is a charm (he has been pulled over two times before and been given warnings). Trent did not sweet talk his way out of this one. Off to driving school he will have to go.
Lesson - Get window fixed. Don't speed!
